Start of the Academy: Impressions of the Duxton Pinnacle

All of the participants have arrived in Singapore and as a first day, we had an excursion to the Duxton Pinnacle, one of the highest buildings in Singapore. It is a public housing unit with 50 storeys and a view all over the city. One could really notice the differences of old/new urbanization strategies and landscapes, with Chinatown in the traditional housing style and the many skyscrapers in the background.
