Katerina Teaiwa

Associate Professor Katerina Teaiwa is from the School of Culture, History and Language at the Australian National University. She is currently Head of the Gender, Media and Cultural Studies program and Vice-President of the Australian Association for Pacific Studies. She is author of Consuming Ocean Island: stories of people and phosphate from Banaba (2015) and visual artist on Project Banaba (Carriageworks and MTG Hawke’s Bay).
